Runner Dashboard

Local runner dashboard for saved RunCalc race goals, race plans, training paces, and VO2max estimates.

Your local RunCalc command center

The Runner Dashboard brings together race goals, race plans, readiness, conditions adjustments, training zones, and VO2max estimates saved from RunCalc calculators. It uses browser storage only. There is no account, no upload, no cross-device sync, and no backend dependency in this version.

What to save first

Start with a pace plan if you know a goal time, a race prediction if you have a recent result, or training zones if you want workout paces. For long races, add fueling and hydration checks before race day.

Example printable race card

A saved race plan becomes a small race card: the goal, required pace, A/B/C outcomes, conditions-adjusted pace, risk point, and missing decisions that still need checking. Print it or copy it from the dashboard before race week.

Example race card

Marathon - B goal 3:30:00

  • Required pace: 4:59 /km - 8:01 /mi
  • A/B/C goals: 3:26:30 - 3:30:00 - 3:36:59
  • Key split: 30K at 2:29:20, then reassess effort
  • Fueling cue: practice carbs and fluids before race day
  • Missing decisions: hydration check, shoe check, race-week checklist

How the dashboard should be used

Treat the dashboard as a private planning board, not as a coaching account. Save one current race goal, then add the supporting decisions that make the goal executable: expected pace, predicted finish range, workout zones, race fuel, hydration, and recovery timing. When a recent race or workout changes your assumptions, recalculate the relevant tool and save the new result. The dashboard keeps the latest decisions easy to revisit before a workout, long run, or race week without asking you to create a profile.

Because everything is stored in this browser, clearing site data or switching devices will remove the saved dashboard. Print important race plans or copy them into your training log before race day.

Why saving locally matters

Most calculator visits end with a number. RunCalc is designed to keep the decision attached to that number: target pace, fallback goal, risk point, fueling cue, and the next calculator that resolves a missing race-day choice. That local history is the product moat: the more decisions you save, the more useful the dashboard becomes without requiring login friction.

Local storage and privacy

Saved dashboard items stay in localStorage on your device. RunCalc does not upload dashboard entries, sync them across devices, or attach them to an email account. This keeps the first version lightweight and private, but it also means you control backups. Use the clear button on this page if you want to remove saved RunCalc decisions from the browser.
